They battled the wind of a thunderstorm to put out the fire!
The Goshen Fire District was called at around 2:15 AM on November 9, 2024, to aid the Elkins Fire Department at a house fire on Mt. Olive Rd. They released photographs you can view below.
Fire Reported In Goshen, Arkansas
Upon arrival, Elkins firefighters found the single-family home completely engulfed in flames.
Fire departments from Goshen and Round Mountain joined in to combat the blaze under adverse weather conditions.
The fire was under control after about two hours, allowing units to return to service.
One resident was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and appreciation was expressed for the collaboration between fire departments.
