A medical emergency call led to a new homicide investigation after mysterious circumstances.
The Little Rock Police Department announced on social media that after they were called to provide medical assistance in Little Rock, detectives were called in due to the nature of the person’s death. A homicide investigation is now underway.
The following statement was released by police:
“At 3:06 p.m. on October 29, 2024, the Little Rock Police Department responded to an assist medical call at 11311 Mara Lynn Road. MEMS and Rescue arrived, but officers were called back to the scene shortly after when the individual died. Due to the ambiguous scene surrounding the death, more investigation was needed.”
They continued, saying that an investigation is now underway:
“Homicide detectives were notified and responded. An investigation is currently underway and updates will be provided as information becomes available.”
No further details have been released at this time.
