The crash happened around 7:00 am.

The vehicle, traveling west on State Highway 140, veered off the road. It hit an embankment, went airborne, then crashed into a utility pole.

Arkansas State Police are still investigating the crash. The community mourns the loss of a young life.

Please Slow Down

This horrible car crash comes only a few months after The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Arkansas Highway Safety Office are teamed up with Arkansas law enforcement to warn drivers to slow down.

In July, law enforcement cracked down on speeding drivers in an attempt to stop the fast driving.
