A horrible accident has been confirmed by Arkansas State Police.

A driver in Johnson County has died after being ejected through a windshield in a horrible accident. It happened after he hit a tree after not making a turn on the road correctly.

Crash Details Released From Johnson County

Phillip Porter, 58, of Hartman, Arkansas, died in a car crash on County Road 2243 in Johnson County. The incident occurred as Porter was navigating a left-handed curve in his 2001 Honda Civic.

Porter failed to complete the turn, veering off the road and colliding with a tree. The impact ejected him through the windshield of his vehicle.

Authorities say the crash happened at 11:08 AM. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is currently holding his body as investigations continue.

Road conditions were clear at the time of the accident.
