There was a fairly recent fire in Pine Bluff destroying a local church and damaging an emergency responder building.
Thankfully, after the Pine Bluff fire, the Emergency Ambulance Service Inc. is launching an operation to not only repair the building, but expand the building newer and better.
New Emergency Ambulance Service Building Coming
A fire at the former Baptist Church on West 6th Street in August not only destroyed the church but also damaged the adjacent Emergency Ambulance Service Inc. (EASI) office.
EASI CEO Josh Bishop discussed the impact on the “Oldies 1013 Morning Show” with Greg Horne, owner of Deltaplex News.
During the interview, Bishop detailed the fire’s effects on their operations and shared plans for recovery. Apparently, the fire is leading to positive changes being made in the fire’s aftermath:
Host Greg Horne inquired if the fire hastened any pre-existing plans for EASI’s expansion:
Bishop confirmed that while expansion was considered, the fire has now accelerated these plans.
