It’s set to be one of the most popular locations in Searcy, Arkansas.
It all started in 2022, when longtime Searcy resident and businessman Larry Crain agreed to donate a whopping $2 million to build a brand new Searcy Public Library. Crain has since passed away, but the vision has become a reality. The project reportedly cost over $8 million in total.
The new location is on 954 Skyline Drive, on Beebe Capps, in Searcy. It’s called the Janett & Larry Crain Memorial Library. The grand opening is happening soon!

The Janett & Larry Crain Memorial Library will have its official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening on September 18th:
