A boil order has been issued in southern Arkansas!
According to Kicker 102.5, a precautionary boil order notice has been issued for Lakewood and Union Area residences in Texarkana, Arkansas. One of the water mains in the area has reportedly fallen into disrepair.

The cause of the boil order was reportedly due to “reduced distribution system pressure and loss of water.”
The order should be followed in case you brush your teeth, wash your face, or drink anything. Anything to do with water.
This means that the water could likely be contaminated with bacteria and is unsafe to consume.
