Get ready for some wind and thunderstorms on Monday.
It doesn’t look good.
According to KARK, thunderstorms will likely arrive on Monday morning. Severe weather is possible. But regardless of what happens, strong winds appear to be a certainty.
Thunderstorms and Wind
According to weather experts, “The line of thunderstorms will move into west Arkansas in the early morning, they will enter the Little Rock Metro midday, and move into western Arkansas during the late afternoon.”
All thunderstorms are different. According to the National Weather Service, a thunderstorm is any rain-bearing cloud that produces lightning. But even if no tornadoes appear, that doesn’t mean they aren’t incredibly dangerous for people who might be stuck in them.
“In the United States, an average of 300 people are injured and 80 people are killed each year by lightning.”
Our next round of thunderstorms arrive early Monday morning. Severe weather is possible for parts of Arkansas, but strong winds will be the main impact.
Please take adequate caution tomorrow. Stay safe!
