Smokey Chaos Leads To Cloudy Details
Although sources originally reported that a whopping 30 acres had burned in the grassfire accident, KAIT8 was able to determine that only around 10 acres were lost.
Witnesses say multiple fire departments were at the scene. The Arkansas Forestry Division was also there.
The grass fire accident reportedly happened north of 380.
Unexpected Event During Rainy Weather
The event was surprising considering the weather. As previously reported, thunderstorms and rain started early on Monday morning for most of the state. Apparently, it still wasn’t enough to put the fire out.
That being said, it’s still important to check to see if your county has a burn ban. Just because it’s raining doesn’t mean it’s safe to burn.
